transient analyses, thermal hydraulic analyses, containment analysis, and stability analysis. The individual will work within an energetic team environment to perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses to support a variety of applications encompassing

BWRX-300 DSA.

The position offers limitless opportunity to learn the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis by applying state-of-the-art thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and solve real day to day plant problems. Additionally, this position has direct customer-facing opportunities through training, deliverables, and collaboration. • Essential Responsibilities:

   
• As the Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer, you will: + Quickly learn and apply analytical methods, procedures, and techniques to solve problems.

+ Lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in the area of Anticipated Operational Occurrences, Anticipated Transients without Scram, Reactor Heat Balance, and Thermal Hydraulic Fuel Channel Analyses. + Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses. + Perform plant thermal hydraulic evaluations and analyses in the areas of BWR stability. + Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations + Prepare, communicate, and present complex technical issues to internal and external customers and recommend solutions + Ensure work is performed with high quality in accordance with regulatory rules and regulations, customer requirements, and business quality assurance standards.

• Required Qualifications:

   
• + B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar). + At least 2 years of relevant nuclear experience + ORMaster's degree in engineering

• Desired Characteristics:

   
• + Master's degree in engineering + Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes.

+ Background in power plant or process plant thermal hydraulics. + Possess fundamental knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response. + Knowledge of the fundamental principles of nuclear engineering such as nuclear physics, thermal hydraulics, and mechanical design, as applied to BWR + Knowledge of power plant or process plant thermal hydraulics. + Knowledge of two-phase thermal hydraulic analysis techniques. + Experience with Best Estimate and CSAU applications + Programming experience such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON + Acts with honesty and integrity, takes ownership of their work, and communicates with confidence and clarity. + Highly motivated and committed to delivering quality results, always looking for ways to improve. _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $79,400.00 and $137,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
