Nuclear Safety Specialist (Project-Based) System One is hiring a Nuclear Safety Specialist / Safety Representative to support a project in Aiken, South Carolina . This is a project-based, fully onsite assignment in a safety-critical, fast-paced environment. Assignment Details Item Details Job Title Nuclear Safety Specialist (Project-Based) Location Savannah River Site — Aiken, SC Duration until September 2026 Schedule 6 days/week (Mon-Sat), 10-hour days Work Arrangement 100% onsite (must remain onsite for full project duration) Employment Type W2 Contract Pay Rate $50-$60/hour Key Requirements Experience 2+ years of nuclear site experience (preferred) If no nuclear experience: 2+ years in a utility or highly regulated industrial safety environment Certifications / Eligibility (Required) OSHA 30 Ability to obtain nuclear badging / NRC clearance Must be U.S. work authorized ( U.S. citizen or permanent resident ) Electrical safety (low / medium / high voltage) LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) Hot work / energized systems Electrical infrastructure / cable bus systems Heat stress monitoring Scaffolding inspections (or willingness to obtain certification) Nice-to-Have Certifications CSP or CHST Certified Electrical Safety Professional CPR / First Aid Work Environment / Physical Requirements Fully onsite for duration of project Physically active role (standing/walking; lifting up to ~50 lbs with assistance) Safety-critical, fast-paced setting System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
