Nuclear Surety - Principal / Sr Principal Systems Engineer - 8876-1

Performing decomposition of Department of Defense safety manuals into requirements and allocating them to design teams for implementation Provide systems engineering expertise to the design, integration, and testing of a next generation ICBM weapon system Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability, and analysis for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems Evaluate the physical security design based on the Department of Defense Safety manuals This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).

Required for both levels:

Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in nuclear, electrical, or software engineering discipline 3 years of experience with development or verification of electrical or software requirements Experience supporting a major program event (e.g. SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, etc.) for a DoD program Experience working with Nuclear Surety Requirements and the Nuclear Certification process (e.g.

AFI 63-125, AFMAN 91-118/91-119/31-108, DODM 5210.41, AFI 91-107

) Experience and working knowledge of the Sentinel program
