About the Company Acquisition Next Gen is hiring a Senior Advanced Engineering Technician in Florham Park, New Jersey. We are seeking experienced engineering professionals with strong hands-on technical expertise supporting advanced electro-mechanical systems, prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration in highly technical environments. About the Role This role is ideal for candidates with experience in: Soldering and cable assembly Mechanical assemblies Fiber optic handling and splicing System-level troubleshooting to component level Prototype fabrication and testing Reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and engineering drawings In this position, you will support engineering activities involving the design, testing, modification, fabrication, checkout, and assembly of advanced electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment. Responsibilities Support engineering activities involving design, testing, modification, fabrication, checkout, and assembly of advanced electro-mechanical systems. Engage in prototype fabrication and testing. Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and engineering drawings. Qualifications Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience Required Skills Ability to work from schematics, layouts, diagrams, and technical documentation Strong troubleshooting and calibration experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to continuous professional development Preferred Skills Experience with advanced technologies supporting critical national security missions Experience working alongside a highly skilled engineering team focused on innovation and technical excellence Pay range and compensation package This opportunity offers the chance to work with advanced technologies supporting critical national security missions alongside a highly skilled engineering team focused on innovation and technical excellence.
