Job Description

Joining Engineer, Cybercab Tesla Motors, Inc. paid holidays, flex time, 401(k) United States, Texas, Austin May 14, 2026 What to Expect Tesla is looking for self-motivated Joining Engineer for CyberCab Engineering team at GFTX. Successful candidate will bring extensive theoretical and hands-on experience in all facets of various joining and welding technologies and related equipment especially on laser welding and cleaning systems along with in depth knowledge of robotics systems. What You'll Do Responsible for the design, selection, enhancement, and maintenance of joining systems, laser joining, remote laser, laser cutting and engraving, laser cleaning systems like laser ablation and passivation. Knowledge of 2D lasers and 3D lasers Provide support to production on all matters related to joining processes, addressing any issues that arise, and actively participating in the implementation of future model changes and process development Support maintenance team in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and equipment failures Develop maintenance joining training programs and perform the training Project management: both internal maintenance projects, and major contractor projects Procedures & PMs. Develop & maintain proper documentation of all necessary procedures, periodic joining equipment maintenance tasks, and process control
