This role is integral to the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems for electrical substations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, system design, and project management, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects within a dynamic environment focused on advancing electrical infrastructure reliability and efficiency. Duties Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for electrical substations, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure Create detailed schematics and system diagrams using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD tools Manage project schedules from conception through commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications Develop and review system schematics, control logic, and automation sequences utilizing MATLAB and related software Coordinate with construction teams during installation and commissioning phases, providing technical support as needed Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to optimize operational efficiency Collaborate with GIS specialists to integrate geographic data into system designs Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, schematics, and project progress in accordance with industry standards Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices throughout all phases of project execution Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced certifications in systems engineering or project management are a plus Proven experience in substation automation, SCADA system design, or related electrical infrastructure projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, MATLAB, CAD software, and GIS applications for system design and analysis Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and construction processes within substation environments Experience with project scheduling tools and methodologies to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with schematics development, system integration, and control logic programming Prior involvement in construction oversight or field commissioning is desirable Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders This role is essential for advancing our electrical infrastructure projects while fostering professional growth within a collaborative team environment.
