$74-$76 per hour Milpitas, CA Contract
Duration:
- 12 months contract
Job Description:
- + We're looking for engineers with experience working on large, complex equipment who enjoy solving system-level performance, reliability, and design challenges. + This role involves analysing critical subsystems, participating in technical discussions, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- + Analyze and model critical subsystems to understand performance and failure behavior + Participate in root cause investigations (RCA) and technical problem-solving + Engage in design reviews and reliability planning discussions + Work with design and reliability teams to identify risks and drive improvements + Support failure analysis, testing, and validation activities + Collaborate across teams to improve manufacturing reliability and product robustness •
Experience:
- + 5-10 years of experience in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or related fields + Experience with large, complex equipment or multi-component systems + Strong understanding of failure analysis and root cause methodologies + Knowledge of failure physics and reliability fundamentals + Ability to engage in technical discussions and design reviews + Experience working with or alongside reliability and design teams + Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills •
Skills:
- + Reliability tools such as ReliaSoft, BlockSim, or similar + Familiarity with Weibull analysis, reliability modelling, or statistical methods + Background in industries like semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or energy systems
Education:
- + Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Materials, or related field
