Job Title:
Battery Systems Engineer Location- Mountain View, CA (100% Onsite) Job Description- The Battery System and Electrical Engineer is to work on system engineering activities for the Battery system, HV, and LV power distribution, charging, and power conversion. Will be part of the ESPS (Energy Storage & Power System) team, accountable for delivering battery system engineering solutions, including certification for the Wisk Gen6 autonomous vehicle. As a BMS System Engineer, one is to work on system engineering activities for battery management system, power distribution, charging, and power conversion. Will be part of the ESPS (Energy Storage & Power System) team, accountable for delivering BMS system engineering solutions, including certification for the Wisk Gen6 autonomous vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Battery system, HV and LV power distribution system, charging system architecture, design, requirement development, analysis, validation, and verification Collaborate with multiple disciplinary engineering teams, including but not limited to battery cell, electrical, thermal, and mechanical engineers, to develop functional and performance requirements In conjunction with certification, aircraft system engineers, quality engineers to manage engineering activities for compliance and certification Drive system safety analysis and architecture assessment Support Electrical and Electronics hardware, BMS HW & software, Thermal, and integration verification Ability to solve open-ended engineering problems using systems-level thinking A detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills Ownership mindset, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit Experience of SIL, MIL, HIL, and system verification Participate in Certification or Standards Training and adhere to the process to meet certification goals.
