This position focuses on turnkey power system solutions including generator replacements and installations, industrial electrical upgrades, retrofits, repairs, medium and high voltage infrastructure, system hardening, redundancy improvements, and mission critical power applications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business development and client relationship skills, allowing them to work directly with industrial clients to develop conceptual and budgetary solutions for complex electrical infrastructure projects. This role supports projects across industrial manufacturing, surface mining, cement production, utilities, healthcare, water treatment, mission critical facilities, data centers, and heavy industrial operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with industrial clients, utilities, consultants, engineers, contractors, and facility owners. Identify and pursue opportunities involving:
Industrial power distribution systems Generator replacement and emergency power systems Electrical retrofits, repairs, and modernization projects Cement plant expansions and upgrades Surface mining electrical infrastructure Medium and high voltage systems up to 230kV Electrical infrastructure replacement and resiliency improvements Redundant power systems and mission critical operations support Utility interconnections and power distribution upgrades Substation, switchgear, and transformer replacement projects Assist clients in developing turnkey EPC and design-build solutions for complex electrical infrastructure projects. Review customer requirements, site conditions, one-lines, utility requirements, and existing infrastructure to define project scope and execution strategies. Coordinate with internal engineering, operations, controls, testing, and estimating teams to develop: Conceptual designs Preliminary one-lines Scope narratives Equipment recommendations Budgetary and ROM estimates Detailed estimate proposals Project execution strategies Prepare and support technical and commercial proposals including: Scope clarifications Assumptions and exclusions Labor and material pricing Schedule considerations Commercial strategy Participate in industrial site walks, outage planning discussions, client meetings, and technical presentations. Coordinate with utilities, OEMs, manufacturers, and subcontractors for technical support, pricing, and equipment procurement. Identify operational risks, constructability concerns, outage limitations, utility coordination requirements, and long-lead equipment impacts. Support transition from sales to project execution teams to ensure continuity and successful project delivery. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following industries: Surface mining Cement and aggregate facilities Heavy industrial manufacturing Utilities and substations Power generation Mission critical facilities Healthcare infrastructure Water and wastewater facilities Data centers Experience with: Medium and high voltage systems up to 230kV Industrial substations Generator systems and paralleling controls Generator replacement and installation projects Electrical retrofits and infrastructure upgrades Protective relaying and coordination Medium voltage switchgear Utility coordination and interconnections Power distribution infrastructure EPC and design-build projects System hardening and resiliency upgrades Ability to interpret: Electrical one-lines Relay and protection schematics Specifications and utility standards Equipment layouts and control diagrams Familiarity with: NEC NETA NFPA
standards MSHA requirements Utility interconnection standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent industrial power systems experience will also be considered. 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems, utility infrastructure, generator systems, substations, electrical construction, or related industries preferred. Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure construction, estimating, and power system operations. Experience preparing estimate proposals and conceptual project budgets. Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to present technical solutions to both engineering and executive-level stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, Accubid, or estimating platforms is a plus.
