Senior Construction Electrical Engineer About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical lead for electrical engineering support across construction and commissioning activities for Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, and CHP power projects . This role provides expert guidance on electrical systems, oversees field execution, resolves complex technical issues, and ensures full compliance with project requirements, industry codes, and safety standards. The Senior Construction Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and vendors to drive safe, efficient, and high‑quality project delivery while mentoring and developing junior engineers. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate core competencies including action orientation, customer focus, ownership, adaptability, and continuous development. Serve as the primary electrical technical authority for construction and commissioning across assigned projects. Lead development, review, and approval of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning procedures. Validate electrical designs, analyses, and field execution for AC/DC systems. Interpret and verify complex electrical documents such as drawings, protection schemes, wiring diagrams, load lists, and equipment data. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Lead resolution of complex site and design issues involving protection, controls, integration, and commissioning challenges. Provide authoritative technical direction to Site Managers, field engineers, contractors, and vendors. Oversee construction support planning, protection coordination studies, relay settings, and short‑circuit analyses. Review and approve technical submittals, bid evaluations, and major equipment acceptance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering . 10+ years of experience supporting Gas Turbine, CCGT, or large power‑generation electrical systems . Extensive experience with GT controls, excitation systems, relays and protection, high‑voltage distribution equipment, and commissioning. Experience with P6 or similar scheduling tools preferred. Strong understanding of ISO procedures, OSHA requirements, and power‑plant safety protocols . Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20-30% . Pay:

$115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
