This position plays a key role in bridging engineering, project management, design coordination, and field operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with project specifications. This position is ideal for someone with AutoCAD experience who wants to take an active role in project engineering, technical coordination, and project execution within the low voltage industry. Responsibilities Review construction documents, specifications, and contract requirements Develop, review, and maintain AutoCAD shop drawings, system layouts, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation for low voltage system. Coordinate project drawings and design revisions with project managers, field personnel, and other trades Develop and manage submittal packages for engineer and owner approval Prepare project closeout documentation and record drawings Coordinate with General Contractors, owners, consultants, manufacturers, and field personnel Track project milestones, material deliveries, and closeout requirements Support field teams by resolving design and installation issues Maintain project documentation, drawing logs, and revision control Participate in project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle Support estimating efforts, takeoffs, and pre-construction coordination as needed Support multiple active projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards Systems Involved Fire Alarm Access Control Structured Cabling Audio Visual (AV) Intercom/Paging CCTV/ Security Systems Network Infrastructure Qualifications AutoCAD proficiency required Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite preferred Revit/BIM coordinatoin experience is a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is a plus Experience in commercial construction, electrical, fire alarm, AV, security, or low-voltage systems preferred Strong organizational and project coordination skills Self- motivated with strong problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full time stable enviroment Exposure to large commercial and education projects Team-oriented work enviroment
