About SSP Southeastern Security Professionals (SSP) is a leading security integration company specializing in delivering innovative, customized solutions for commercial, manufacturing, government, and educational clients. From advanced access control and video surveillance to integrated security systems, we partner with organizations to protect their people, property, and assets while delivering exceptional service and support. We are expanding our presence in the Atlanta market and seeking a skilled Security Systems Sales Engineer to design innovative solutions, support the sales process, and deliver customized security systems that meet the unique needs of our clients. This role will bridge technical expertise with business development, helping SSP strengthen relationships, win new projects, and further establish our reputation as a trusted security partner across the region. About the Role SSP is seeking a System Sales Engineer with deep expertise in fire alarm systems and strong knowledge of access control, cameras, security, intercom, gates, and infant abduction systems . In this client-facing role, you will combine technical engineering knowledge with sales support to design customized system solutions. You'll collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure our clients receive tailored, code-compliant, and effective security solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and present fire alarm and integrated security solutions to prospective clients. Conduct site surveys and assessments to define requirements and specifications. Partner with sales to prepare proposals, RFP responses, and technical presentations . Provide pre- and post-sales engineering support , ensuring seamless handoff to operations. Verify material selections, estimated hours, and project feasibility for accuracy. Analyze blueprints and construction documents to confirm compliance with design standards. Create and deliver technical scopes of work, equipment lists, and wiring diagrams . Prepare submittal packages for various system types as needed. Stay current on NFPA codes, fire alarm technologies, and building standards .

Tot Guard Qualifications 5+ years' experience in the security/low-voltage industry. Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems (design, installation, compliance). Ability to interpret complex system designs and specifications . Excellent communication and presentation skills . Proficiency in CAD software .
