Job Site Utilities Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Site Utilities Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for underground utility and site development projects in Northwest Indiana. This role oversees crews, subcontractors, safety, schedules, and quality for work involving water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, drainage, excavation, and related underground infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily underground utility field operations.
• Supervise crews, subcontractors, vendors, and equipment.
• Coordinate schedules, production goals, and trade sequencing.
• Enforce safety and trench protection requirements.
• Review plans, profiles, and field progress.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and utility tie-ins.
• Track daily production and communicate project updates.
• Resolve field issues to keep work moving. Qualifications
• 5+ years of field leadership experience in underground utilities, heavy civil, or site development.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm, and excavation work.
• Ability to read civil drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of trench safety and jobsite compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CMiC, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
