You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of HV/EHV installations by bridging the gap between technical engineering requirements and real-world project execution. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to translate complex project needs into robust cable system specifications. Engineer high-quality HV/EHV cable solutions by selecting optimal components and verifying system performance characteristics. Develop comprehensive technical documentation and data sets to support accurate project costing and design validation. Provide expert technical guidance to cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and project management, to ensure seamless delivery. Conduct on-site field support to troubleshoot installation challenges and verify product application integrity. Monitor evolving national and international industry standards to ensure all designs remain compliant and cutting-edge. Manage and maintain essential construction licensing requirements across various jurisdictions to support project mobility. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. 3-5 years of professional experience designing products for utility-scale infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar industry-standard drafting and design software. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences. Preferred Skills Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration. NCEES certification. Proven track record of success within high-performing, collaborative engineering teams. Experience with solid dielectric underground cable systems and associated accessories.
