Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for aPower Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in theLaurel, MDsurrounding area.
Pay Rate:
$100.00 - $120.00 •US Citizenship is required.•Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.•
Job Responsibilities:
+ Defines and establishes system requirements for power quality and system stability. + Defines and establishes system electrical interface requirements. + Develops system test processes and procedures. + Defines facility requirements for testing. + Participates/leads Test Readiness Reviews. + Participates/leads test data reviews. + Participates in mission integration activities. + Supports launch approval activities.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related major. + 10+ years of power systems design experience for space applications. + Experience with Radioisotope Power Systems. + Experience working on NASA programs.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Master's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering with a focus on space. Benefits offered vary by contract.
