Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled engineering professional who will contribute to the delivery of complex high-voltage substation design projects and play a key role in the creation, adaptation, and development of technical solutions. Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare design deliverables and calculation packages for new and modified high-voltage electrical power substation projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project requirements. Support the entire project lifecycle, including concept phase through completion, by preparing physical arrangements, protective relaying designs, and electrical studies such as grounding and lightning analysis. Research project-related data, compile reports, deliver presentations, and collaborate closely with project managers to maintain project schedules and quality expectations. Conduct field inspections of substation facilities, and coordinate with clients and team members to resolve issues, support proposals, and uphold internal QA/QC guidelines.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from an ABET accredited program and a minimum of 3 years of substation engineering experience (consulting experience preferred), or a related technology degree with successful completion of the FE exam and a minimum of 3 years of substation engineering experience. Substantial and meaningful experience with 765kV substation projects, specifically including physical design or protection and control (P&C) responsibilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, strong written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail, effective collaboration and leadership skills, and the ability to apply broad engineering principles to various assignments and develop innovative technical solutions.
