Job Description

Join an award-winning wastewater industry leader in protecting our environment! The Metropolitan Council's Environmental Services (ES) division operates and maintains nine water resource recovery facilities in the Twin Cities metro area. There are two positions available to fill as Associate Engineer, Engineer, Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer (depending on qualifications) working on the Wastewater Planning and Community Program team. Engineer positions are eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking. This team leads infrastructure planning efforts for our regional wastewater system. This work involves close coordination with the 111 communities that are connected to this system to understand system needs and meet the anticipated growth of the region as well as thoughtfully plan for cost-effective and reliable wastewater service.
