Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support and lead critical electrical infrastructure, power management, energy optimization, and reliability initiatives within an industrial manufacturing or high-power operational environment. This role will serve as a key technical resource responsible for maintaining and improving facility electrical reliability, power distribution systems, energy monitoring infrastructure, utility coordination, and overall operational continuity. The position will support both strategic infrastructure initiatives and day-to-day operational needs in fast-paced production environments where uptime, safety, and system reliability are critical. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with industrial power systems, electrical infrastructure integration, power monitoring platforms, and energy optimization strategies, while also understanding how electrical systems should be designed, installed, commissioned, and maintained. Key Responsibilities Lead and support electrical reliability and power management initiatives across facility operations Analyze and manage facility and equipment power consumption to improve operational efficiency and system reliability Develop and implement: Peak load trimming strategies Demand management initiatives Energy optimization programs Load balancing solutions Maintain and support facility electrical infrastructure including: Medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems Switchgear Transformers MCCs Protective relays Metering systems Industrial utilities Power monitoring and reporting platforms Coordinate with utility providers regarding: Service capacity Demand management Infrastructure upgrades Power quality concerns Energy reduction initiatives Review and validate electrical infrastructure plans for equipment installations and facility expansions Ensure proper integration of equipment power supplies, metering systems, and monitoring software with existing infrastructure Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to: Power quality issues Electrical failures Consumption abnormalities Monitoring system integration Operational reliability concerns Perform and support: Load studies Power quality analysis Arc flash studies Coordination studies Energy usage analysis Provide technical leadership during planned outages, shutdowns, commissioning activities, and emergency response situations Coordinate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and engineering teams to safely execute electrical infrastructure work Verify electrical installations, metering systems, and monitoring platforms are installed and commissioned correctly Support infrastructure modernization and capital improvement projects involving electrical distribution and energy management systems Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for electrical infrastructure and monitoring systems Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements Provide technical guidance and mentorship to operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline preferred 8+ years of experience supporting industrial or commercial electrical power systems Strong experience with: Industrial power distribution systems Electrical infrastructure integration Power monitoring systems Energy management initiatives Utility coordination Experience supporting: Medium-voltage and low-voltage systems Switchgear Transformers MCCs Protective relays Metering systems Strong understanding of: Peak demand management Load analysis Power quality Electrical system commissioning Monitoring and reporting platforms Experience reviewing and validating electrical installations and infrastructure integration Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities Ability to operate effectively within active industrial, manufacturing, or high-power operational environments Strong communication, coordination, and project leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Experience within: Manufacturing Metals processing Utilities Mining Chemical processing Data centers Industrial infrastructure environments Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Experience with:

Pay:
$65.00 - $75.00 per hour
