This role will oversee low-voltage infrastructure supporting power monitoring systems that collect data, track power usage, and enable predictive maintenance for critical equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can own the jobsite, manage crews, and drive production while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site Foreman / Site Superintendent Lead daily operations and manage a crew of approximately 6 technicians (with team expansion over time) Read and interpret blueprints; plan work, lay out tasks, and delegate responsibilities Oversee installation of: Fiber optic and Cat6 cabling Cable tray and/or conduit Connections to 200+ devices Pull, terminate, and splice fiber in cable trays and conduit to devices Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards Coordinate with other contractors and project leadership to resolve issues Manage schedules, deadlines, and production timelines Maintain a safe, professional, and organized jobsite Provide progress updates and reporting as needed Required Skills Low-voltage systems Fiber optic installation and termination Cat6 cabling Fiber splicing Qualifications Proven experience leading crews in commercial construction or data center environments Strong preference for data center experience Hands-on expertise with low-voltage systems and device installations Ability to read prints, plan work, and execute independently Reliable, safety-focused, and deadline-driven leadership style Comfortable with basic technology for reporting, documentation, and meetings Certifications & Tools OSHA 10 required (or willingness to obtain) Lift certification required (can be provided or reimbursed) Must have standard low-voltage tools, including a cordless/power drill Experience with duct banks is a plus PPE provided on site Additional Details Limited flexibility for time off during the project due to schedule requirements Opportunity for long-term, ongoing work and advancement into higher-level leadership roles Safety-focused role with high expectations for professionalism and reliability Ideal Candidate A confident leader who can run a jobsite and manage crews effectively Thrives under tight deadlines and maintains composure under pressure Motivated to grow with an organization building out a dedicated cabling division Fully committed to leading and owning this type of work Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Papillion, NE.
