Position range in Albuquerque MSA $70k - $135k Per Year Pulsed Power Engineer (Junior to Senior Level)
I Pulse Group
Using simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, CST, SPICE, Screamer, FLASH, LS-DYNA) for circuit, electromagnetic, and multi-physics simulations.
Modeling hydrodynamic and solid-matter interfaces and scaling pulsed-power systems.
Designing high-temperature, long-lifetime, high-reliability pulsed-power systems.
Developing PCBs and advanced high-temperature electronics.
Presenting work at design reviews, managing schedules, and tracking project costs.
Conducting theoretical and experimental analysis.
Documenting results, failures, and corrective actions.
Writing technical proposals.
Experience in research, development, or prototyping environments.
Experience writing proposals for competitive solicitations.
Expertise in experimental electrical engineering or applied physics.
Master's or Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications:
20+ years of experience in pulsed power or related projects for government or industry.Expertise in experimental electrical engineering or applied physics.
Master's or Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
