Utility Locator SiteTwin Las Vegas, NV Job Details Full-time $28 - $30 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work Underground utilities GPS Driver's License GPS surveying Driving Full Job Description Utility Locator - Reno, NV / Las Vegas, NV Corridor (811 + Private Utility Locating) About the Role SiteTwin is hiring experienced Utility Locators for ongoing 811 and private utility locating projects throughout Nevada, including work based in and around Reno, Las Vegas, and long-haul utility corridor projects between the two markets. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working independently in the field, managing production-based locating assignments, and handling a mix of rural and urban utility infrastructure environments. Most projects involve fiber, telecom, power, water, sewer, and storm utility locating along roadway and infrastructure corridors. We're looking for dependable field professionals who take pride in quality documentation, safe digging practices, and production-focused utility locating work. Responsibilities Perform utility locating services for private infrastructure and 811-related projects Locate and mark underground utilities including fiber, telecom, electric, water, sewer, gas, and storm Document completed work daily with field reports, photos, and mileage tracking Use GPS equipment, tablets, and digital mapping tools for utility documentation Coordinate with project managers, construction crews, and field personnel Maintain safe work practices and accurate field documentation across active infrastructure projects Project Areas Reno, NV Las Vegas, NV Reno to Las Vegas utility corridor work McCarran Loop and surrounding infrastructure projects Additional Nevada utility locating projects as assigned Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to travel throughout Nevada as needed Comfortable working outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions Previous utility locating experience strongly preferred Experience locating telecom, fiber, electric, water, sewer, or gas infrastructure preferred Familiarity with GPS equipment, tablets, and digital field documentation tools Self-sufficient and capable of managing field production independently What We Provide Company equipment provided Travel, mileage, and project-related expenses covered Consistent workload with long-term project opportunities Flexible scheduling depending on project assignments Opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure and telecom corridor projects Fast-moving team environment with growth opportunities Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Production and project-based opportunities available Steady infrastructure and utility corridor work If you're an experienced locator looking for steady utility locating work across Nevada with opportunities on major infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you.
