As an employee-owned company, we foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and career development. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Building Systems team in Suffern, NY. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects across the public and private sectors, delivering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. What You'll Be Doing Design electrical systems for a variety of building types, including lighting, power distribution, and low/medium voltage systems Develop electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection Conduct field visits to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs Support project management efforts, including schedules, budgets, and client coordination Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and energy requirements What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field) 5-10 years of experience in electrical design for building systems EIT and/or PE preferred Strong experience with AutoCAD; Revit/BIM preferred Knowledge of NEC, building codes, and energy standards Experience with lighting design, power distribution, and system coordination Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
