Position Overview The Network Model Engineer is a technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, development, validation, and ongoing governance of the electrical network model supporting Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) implementations across North America. This role is central to successful ADMS deployments and ongoing system reliability. The Network Model Engineer works closely with utility clients, GIS teams, operations stakeholders, and ADMS vendors to ensure the distribution network model is accurate, complete, and optimized for Outage Management Systems and advanced applications including: Power flow and state estimation Fault location, isolation and service restoration (FLISR) Volt/VAR optimization (VVO) Relay protection and coordination Switching management Outage management DER integration and hosting capacity analytics The position requires strong expertise in utility distribution engineering, GIS data structures, CIM/data standards, and control room applications. Key Responsibilities ADMS Model Strategy & Governance Lead development and governance of the electrical network model supportingADMS OMS
solutions. Collaborate with GIS teams, control room operations, engineering, and IT teams to ensure model reflects real-world network conditions, and define modeling standards, naming conventions, and best practices aligned with utility operations. Facilitate design workshops to align data, processes, and expectations across teams and projects. Establish model ownership, long-term maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement of model accuracy, processes, and supporting tools. ADMS Network Model Development & Configuration Define mapping rules and transformation logic between GIS andADMS OMS
platforms. Ensure alignment between GIS source data andADMS OMS
network model, including connectivity, phasing, impedance model and asset attributes. Define modelling rules for power assets for distribution and transmission substations, including impedance model and asset attributes. Define SCADA model, including mapping of field devices, telemetry points, and control signals to ensure accurate real-time representation of the network inADMS OMS.

Direct experience with ADMS platforms (e.g., Schneider Electric, GE, Siemens, OSI, ABB). Experience with Esri Utility Network or other utility GIS platforms.Strong understanding of:
Distribution system topology and protection schemes Three-phase power flow fundamentals Switching operations and control room workflows SCADA telemetry integration Experience performing load flow validation and model convergence testing. Familiarity with CIM, MultiSpeak, and integration data models. Experience supporting ADMS go-live or major system upgrades strongly preferred. Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. Ability to manage complex data sets and resolve data integrity issues. Ability to explain complex modeling concepts to engineering and operations stakeholders. Comfortable working in deadline-driven, high-visibility project environments. At Mosaic, we are invested in our people and are proud to offer a competitive total compensation package. Compensation decisions are made based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, consulting experience, education and training, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
