This role supports 345kV to 765kV rebuild and greenfield projects, including emerging technologies such as HVDC, operating as a technical specialist with minimal supervision. You will serve as responsible charge on assigned projects, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and may contribute to business development. Schedule Full-time. Hybrid eligible after a 90-day onboarding period. Compensation $148,852 to $293,774 per year for California, with the final offer based on experience and qualifications. Compensation also includes bonus eligibility and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). What You'll Do You will lead transmission line design and analysis across large-scale 345kV and greater rebuild and greenfield projects, performing and overseeing engineering calculations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements. This includes structural design of transmission steel structures and foundations using 3D analysis and design software, developing equipment and material recommendations, and managing scope within budget and schedule. You will serve as responsible charge on assigned projects and coordinate across disciplines, while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers. You will maintain and develop departmental design guides, standards, and quality processes, build and maintain client relationships, and support business development and pursuit activities. The role also includes identifying and training successors and participating in performance management and career development.
