Westwood-MA Summary :
A leader in the rapidly evolving energy industry is currently seeking a strong and highly experienced senior engineer to lead their technical studies team. You will play a key role in leading studies for the interconnection of large-scale Distribution Energy Resources (DER) as well as Data Centers to the transmission and distribution grid. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of these critical assets.
Key Responsibilities :
The Technical Lead Engineer will be responsible for… Lead the search in reviewing grids for potential issues and developing technical and cost-efficient mitigation solutions Prepare thorough and clear technical reports and study results to be presented to internal stakeholders and external clients Lead large-scale integration studies which include DER, Data Centers, and more Provide support and guidance to junior engineers while contributing to the growth of internal study methods, standards, and tools Lead comprehensive analysis using tools such as
PSS/E, PSCAD, TARA, and Synergi Key Qualifications :
The Technical Lead Engineer should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical preferred 8+ years of experience in power systems or supervision Experience using
PSSE, TARA, PSCAD
Experience and developed skills in power systems analysis Professional Engineer's License preferred
