Civil Engineer

  • $95,000 vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) United States, Texas, Frisco 7460 Warren Parkway (Show on map) May 06, 2026 Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer
  • Utilities in one of the posting locations below.
Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as a part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.
Posting Locations for this role:
Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St.
Louis, MO What You'll Do:
Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities Design civil relocation plans for telecommunications and other utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design software Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets Technical oversight, training and mentoring of less experienced staff Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate efforts with support groups ensuring a quality, on-time product for our clients, and financially successful projects Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, etc. Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field 4+ years of engineering experience Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation Experience in utility relocation design, utility coordination, or roadway design Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills Ability to effectively manage time while working on several projects concurrently
Nice To Haves:

$75,000
