Foundry System Solution Engineer Plano, Texas, United States - ams-OSRAM USA Inc.
Your tasks Tasks and responsibilities:
Serves as the technical counterpart for sales and regional marketing in the execution of the regional go-to-market strategy for Full Service Foundry
Positions ams OSRAM as the foundry of choice for mixed-signal designs in mature nodes with reliable supply, competitive cycle time, and high quality
Evangelizes ams OSRAM's robust 180nm CMOS manufacturing with strong analog, high-voltage, and BCD capabilities
Guides the customer towards a solution that can be served by our foundry offering, including process options, physical devices, and IP portfolio
Assist customers during their product development process on topics such as PDK, design tools, process models, etc.
Delivers technical customer trainings
Translates customer design requirements and topologies into technology requirements
Collects customer needs as input for future roadmap in terms of technology, IP blocks, and support tools
Competition landscape analysis and preparation of fighting guides
Who we are looking for
Qualifications:
University education in Electronics, Physics, or Semiconductor Technology
8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry in a customer-facing technical support role, such as (Field) Application Engineering or Product Management
Experience in developing and driving the execution of technical (ideally technology) roadmaps
Background in IC design, particularly in analog or mixed signal, is a plus
Background in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking
High level of motivation and commitment
