Background in Control Systems and Distribution Systems We are looking for a skilled engineer who can blend technical depth with strong customer interaction. In this role, you will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to shape power system solutions that meet complex operational needs. You will take the lead in crafting technical proposals, designing tailored system configurations, and building productive relationships with key industry partners. This position calls for someone who can translate technical requirements into practical solutions while supporting both engineering and commercial objectives. What You Will Be Doing Develop technical and commercial proposals including specifications system designs and cost estimates Serve as the primary technical contact for customers conduct site visits assess requirements and present solutions Design and specify power system solutions including VFDs motor controls power distribution and automation Interpret drawings single line diagrams and technical documents ensure compliance with NEC IEEE and IEC standards Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors such as ABB Siemens Rockwell Schneider Eaton and Danfoss and negotiate pricing and technical terms Support sales engineering and project teams to ensure accurate proposals and smooth project handoffs Provide technical guidance during project execution and identify opportunities for value engineering Develop technical documentation and contribute to standardized product and solution offering What You Need for this Position 2-7+ years of experience in power generation, power controls, and power distribution industry Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background Strong foundation in VFD systems, motor control, and industrial power distribution Proficiency with VFD drives, soft starters, MCCs, PLCs, and SCADA systems Familiarity with NEC, NFPA
70E, IEEE, and IEC standards Experience with SCR drives, generator controls, switchgear, and medium-voltage equipment Background working across multiple industrial sectors (e.g., oil & gas, water/wastewater, mining, etc.) Ability to interpret technical drawings and develop system specifications Able to travel up to 20%, when needed.
