The primary responsibility is in-house service and maintenance of our company-owned systems at our facility. This role also includes periodic field service calls to customer sites for tube and flat detector replacements, parts replacement, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support to ensure maximum system uptime and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform primary servicing, repair, calibration, and maintenance of cardiovascular, R&F, and RAD X-ray systems in-house on company-owned equipment. Conduct periodic field service calls to customer locations to assist with X-ray tube replacements, flat detector replacements, and other parts replacement activities. Provide on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic support during field service visits to resolve system issues efficiently. Deliver technical support and guidance to customers in the field, including remote and on-site assistance to optimize system performance and minimize downtime. Accurately document all service activities, parts used, and customer interactions in accordance with company procedures. Adhere to all safety protocols, radiation safety standards, and regulatory requirements while working on high-voltage and radiation-producing equipment. Required Qualifications Associate's degree (or higher) in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering/Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent military technical training and experience will also be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience servicing cardiovascular (Cath lab), R&F, and/or RAD systems. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic, mechanical, and high-voltage subsystems, including X-ray tubes, flat panel detectors, generators, and associated components. Working knowledge of X-ray system architecture, imaging physics, and radiation safety principles. Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness and ability to travel periodically (typically <5% of time) for field service calls, including occasional overnight stays. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components (up to 50 lbs.) and work in various clinical environments. Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and high ethical standards when representing the company at customer sites. Preferred Qualifications Manufacturer-specific training or certification on cardiovascular, R&F, or RAD X-ray platforms. Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Experience with both in-house depot-level repair and field service environments. Familiarity with FDA, state radiation control regulations, and medical device quality systems. Basic networking and software troubleshooting skills for digital imaging systems. This position primarily offers in-house duties with occasional customer-facing field opportunities, making it ideal for a technically strong service professional who values both hands-on repair work and direct customer support.
