Job Description

Electrical Engineer - Power Systems We are hiring an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and deliver power distribution systems (480V-35kV) for heavy industrial and subterranean mining applications. This is a full-time permanent job with benefits! This role will lead projects from concept through installation while supporting technical excellence and team development.
Electrical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of power delivery systems (480V-35kV) for mining environments
  • Oversee full project lifecycle: concept, system architecture, design, installation, and commissioning
  • Develop project cost estimates and client proposals; manage timelines throughout execution
  • Establish and execute testing and validation protocols ensuring safety and performance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, controls, fabrication) to solve complex challenges
  • Mentor engineers and ensure high standards of quality and technical performance
  • Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting, and client interaction (travel required)
  • Stay current with industry trends in mining power systems and infrastructure Electrical Engineer Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) (ABET accredited)
  • 6+ years of experience in power distribution systems within heavy industry or mining
  • Proven experience designing low and medium voltage systems (480V-35kV)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience using diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Exposure to industrial and underground environments required
  • Ability to travel periodically and work flexible hours as needed #GRP2
