Job Description
IT/SCADA
professionals. Operates under general direction. Performs other duties as assigned. As part of the IT Workforce Architecture Project, assigned level P3. Minimum Qualifications Two (2) year degree or certification in a technology-related field or equivalent combination of education, work experience or relevant military experience, and at least four (4) years of experience in related field. Four (4) years related SCADA experience. Three (3) years of experience related to planning, analysis, configuration, installation, management, and coordination work. Knowledge and experience with IT infrastructure, MPLS, data, voice, Telco, concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to manage projects, including schedules, resource allocations and budgets. Experience leading and participating in internal and external teams. Solid knowledge of department-specific applications. Extensive knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus, with a basic knowledge of related disciplines. Good computer and MS Office skills. Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to analyze complex systems, solve problems, and multi-task. Knowledge of industry best practices and technological leading edge developments. Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Desired Qualifications Undergraduate degree. Customer centric focus with demonstrated ability to apply insights to meet customer technology needs and improve IT maturity. Proven experience working independently and/or in a team environments to deliver on initiatives. Demonstrated ability to drive for results to deliver against commitments. Growth mindset to rapidly learn new skills and be able to collaborate to deliver creative IT solutions. Solid verbal and written communications skills; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification. Professional Engineer certification. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) General Radio/Telephone Operators license, or equivalent certificate. Knowledge and experience utilizing issue tracking systems and processes (REMEDY, Visio, ISRs, Budget process and Change Control). Working knowledge of SAP and PSE budgeting and planning process. Basic understanding of PSE electric and gas infrastructure and field practices. Financial analysis capability to assess feasibility of projects and decisions. Knowledge of electric distribution and transmission infrastructure. Strong statistical and analytical skills. The pay range for this position is $103,100.00 - $181,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses. PSE offers a suite of benefits to our employees.
