Job Description
Are you the expert customers call when a CNC goes down? If you thrive on diagnosing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues—and you want to work with the latest technology in a supportive, growth-minded team—this Madison-area field role is for you. The challenge Own the local field service experience across the Madison market. One day you'll commission a new machining center; the next, you'll execute preventive maintenance on a turning center and deliver quick, clear training to operators. Throughout, you'll communicate seamlessly with people at every level and represent Ellison Technologies with professionalism and integrity. What you'll handle Service, installations, and preventive maintenance for CNC machining and CNC turning centers in the local market. Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting—end to end. On-the-spot training for customers and technical support for sales when needed. Clear, concise communication with diverse stakeholders. Complete ownership of cases and projects, with meticulous records and technical documentation. Additional related responsibilities as assigned. What you'll need Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. Depth across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Core strengths PLC troubleshooting skills CNC machine repair Electrical troubleshooting Equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting What's in it for you Car allowance, plus company cell phone and laptop.
