This is an evergreen (pooled) requisition designed to support multiple openings across our engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and design direction for engineered-to-order solutions, including generator controls, enclosure integration, communications, and power electronics. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, customer-specific solutions on time and within budget. Successful candidates are self-driven problem solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and bring a strong curiosity and hands-on engineering mindset.Work Environment Work Mode:

Limited, as required Specific Responsibilities Design & Engineering Lead electrical design and integration of generator systems, including: Genset controls, ATS systems, and harnessing Custom enclosure systems (skin-tight and walk-in) Auxiliary electrical components and equipment Develop detailed engineering packages including schematics, layouts, component selection, and specifications Design solutions with a strong focus on manufacturability, performance, and cost efficiency Coordinate and integrate third-party electrical systems through design, build, and commissioning Project & Technical Leadership Manage and prioritize multiple custom engineering projects to meet delivery timelines Provide technical direction and support across cross-functional teams Estimate engineering effort, timelines, and product costs for custom solutions Identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and apply sound engineering and business judgment Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with: Sales, Applications, and National Account teams during quoting Mechanical engineering and design teams for integrated solutions Procurement to ensure timely sourcing of materials Manufacturing teams to resolve design issues during production Support field service teams with troubleshooting and resolving complex customer issues Continuous Improvement Drive process improvements to enhance engineering efficiency and product quality Identify opportunities to streamline custom order workflows Support system upgrades and innovation initiativesRequirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited program 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering (internships included), preferably in: Power systems Industrial or product development environments Experience supporting or managing electrical design projects Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills The Salary range for this position is $83,300.00- 105,200.
