Job Description
SUMMARY
The Senior Development Engineer performs a lead role in project management and program execution, and provides technical leadership for projects requiring the application and demonstration of aerospace and defense systems. The primary focus of this position is the design, development, and demonstration of advanced technologies in support of military and aerospace development programs, with minimal direct oversight required. The Senior Development Engineer oversees all phases of program development, including conceptual level design and analysis, full scale system development, prototype hardware design, fabrication, and system testing.

FORB.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering4 to 7 years of experience in mechanical development of aerospace systems with exposure to electromechanical systemsProficient in SolidWorks, and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingBackground and experience with heat transfer, structural analysis, dynamics/ kinematics, advanced high-strength materials, CAD and machine designDemonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute projectsMust be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearanceEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
