Full Job Description Founding Product Engineer Location:
San Francisco, CA (Onsite, 5 days/week) Role Overview Founding Product Engineer responsible for building core product features end-to-end, combining frontend, backend, infrastructure, and customer-facing problem solving. This is a zero-to-one role with direct ownership over product direction and engineering execution. Responsibilities Own full product development lifecycle from idea through production deployment Talk directly with customers to understand needs, pain points, and feature requests Design and plan product solutions from first principles Build backend systems and APIs supporting new product features Develop frontend interfaces and user-facing components Provision infrastructure required to support product functionality and scale Ship features rapidly and iterate based on real customer feedback Diagnose and fix bugs quickly while also implementing long-term scalable solutions Collaborate directly with founders to shape product roadmap and engineering direction Requirements Strong engineering fundamentals with ability to execute across full stack Ability to build and ship products end-to-end independently Pragmatic decision-making in fast-paced startup environments Commitment to continuous improvement as an engineer Strong communication and product thinking skills
