Job Description

Thrust Tech Accessories is an
FAA/EASA
Part 145 Repair Station located in Fort Lauderdale, adjacent to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. We support a wide range of rotary and fixed-wing components across executive and regional aircraft platforms worldwide. We are seeking a PMA Development Engineer to support our Engineering department in blueprint development, work order/router modifications, and new product development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop repair and manufacturing processes using OEM maintenance manuals, customer requirements, and engineering drawings Perform research and feasibility analysis for the design and development of aircraft component parts Create and modify detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Apply GD&T principles to ensure proper tolerancing, fit, and function of components Support PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) development projects, including documentation and compliance activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing) to integrate components into larger systems Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes to validate performance and identify improvements Work closely with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Experience with GD&T and interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications Familiarity with metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.) Knowledge of system integration and component-level design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Working knowledge of FAA PMA development processes (highly preferred) Preferred Experience Experience in aerospace, MRO, or Part 145 environment Familiarity with
FAA/EASA

$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
