Job Description
Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, AI and Infrastructure corporate_fare Google place Atlanta, GA, USA bar_chart Mid Mid Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in test engineering or equivalent. Experience developing and integrating manufacturing Rack/L11 test hardware using custom electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation. Experience coding in Python, Bash, and Shell scripting to generate product-specific test plans and executing test processes.Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with Rack and L11 testing of server, storage, and networking products and with liquid cool system at the rack level for configuration and functional testing. Experience in establishing system calibration, gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R), and correlation study for each change management. Experience with test stations bring-up, calibration and setup for production test purposes. Experience with DFT and system level functional test (L10/L11/L12). Knowledge with the Linux and other operating systems and common command line tools. Ability to drive continuous improvement of test systems and processes for increased manufacturability. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Design, build, optimize and deploy Rack and L11 test platforms for Google compute/storage/ML server at the global manufacturing partner factory. Partner with the NPI team to define Design for Test (DFT) requirements and provide input to manufacturing test strategy. Provide caliber manufacturing test engineering support for new and existing products. Drive initiatives to improve test process efficiencies, improve test coverage, and reduce cost. Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive sustaining test issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.Similar remote jobs
