Job Description:

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Dev/Research Engineer to join our team in Chillicothe, IL! We offer full benefits, PTO, 401k, and more! This engineer will be responsible for fuel pump validation for a new design pump. They will lead validation planning, track hardware, plan and run tests, and communicate results to the team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development (NPI) Creo modeling Print detailing Assist in Validation testing Hands-on work - test prep, assembly, tear down and inspection Thorough documentation and clear communication Analysis coordination Supplier CPPD Tolerance stack-up's Engineer will work with lead engineer, pump SME and two additional engineers on development of new fuel pump project to advance toward NPI launch. Component / system design development according to APQP and NPI program cadence Hands-on lab/test environment (validation hardware: receiving, test coordination, inspection) -> increasing as project progresses to validation phase

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree in engineering required with 2-4 years' testing experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

3D modeling/print detailing Clear understanding of GD&T Hand-on with product Product development experience

FMEA/DVP&R/APQP

Engine/Fuel systems development experience Detailing/releasing experience Structural FEA experience Hydraulic analysis experience Product validation experience Knowledge of manufacturing processes

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED
