Job Description

Engineering support role focused on custom solution estimating, code compliance, CAD design, pressure-containing equipment, manufacturing support, and product lifecycle engineering. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology 2-5 years of experience in a related industrial field Direct experience with ASME design codes Direct experience with ANSI design codes Direct experience with API design codes Experience with ASME Section VIII Experience with B31.3, B31.4, or B31.8 codes 2D and 3D CAD experience AutoCAD experience Inventor experience Experience using empirical formulas or FEA software Understanding of metallurgy Understanding of machining processes, including lathe and mill operations Understanding of welding processes, including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW 1+ year of experience in piping, valve, or pressure vessel design Knowledge of sealing technology Knowledge of pressure-containing equipment US citizenship Preferred Skills Experience developing custom solution cost estimates Experience auditing fabrication drawings Experience preparing engineering calculations Experience preparing technical reports Experience creating Bills of Materials Experience creating manufacturing routings Experience supporting manufacturing teams with technical troubleshooting Experience performing product failure analysis Experience identifying cost-reduction opportunities Job Responsibilities Provide technical support and engineering expertise across quotation, design, manufacturing, and field operations Develop custom solution cost estimates based on customer specifications Verify designs follow applicable ASME, ANSI, API, and related code requirements Review fabrication drawings, customer specifications, and internal procedures for regulatory and quality compliance Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and customer deliverables Manage orders from entry through shipment Create Bills of Materials and manufacturing routings Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical guidance to manufacturing teams Coordinate with customers, supply chain, and quality teams to optimize designs and maintain standards Maintain and update design documentation based on current code revisions and manufacturing best practices Perform technical troubleshooting and product failure analysis when required
