This role focuses on CAD modeling, suspension geometry, mechanical problem-solving, and turning ideas into production-ready parts that survive real-world punishment. You will work directly with fabrication, production, and R D teams to develop components for race vehicles, trail machines, and utility builds. What You'll Do Design and engineer off-road suspension, chassis, and structural components Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and production drawings using SolidWorks Collaborate with fabrication, production, and R D teams during development and prototypingSupport product testing, fitment validation, and performance analysis Assist in developing manufacturing-ready designs for efficient production Evaluate suspension geometry, clearances, strength, and overall vehicle performance Troubleshoot design and fitment issues during prototyping and production Maintain organized engineering files, revisions, and technical documentation Research new materials, manufacturing methods, and industry trends to support product development What We're Looking For Strong experience with CAD software and 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles Experience designing suspension, chassis, or structural components Ability to think critically and solve real-world engineering challenges Strong attention to detail and design accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects at once Desired Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred Previous experience in off-road, automotive, powersports, or motorsports industries Understanding of suspension geometry and vehicle dynamics Experience supporting fabrication, prototyping, or manufacturing environments Familiarity with UTV, SXS, ATV, or 4x4 platforms is a plus Personality Hardworking and motivated to continuously improve Problem solver who enjoys figuring things out Passionate about building durable, functional products Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-moving environment Team-oriented but capable of working independently Takes pride in quality work and attention to detail Why S3 Power Sports S3 Power Sports is a family-owned off-road manufacturer and racing team built by riders, racers, and fabricators who live the lifestyle.
