This Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) position offers the opportunity for highly motivated, innovative, and inspired engineers to work in a challenging assignment in the advance phase of automotive product development using parametric and associative modeling methodology utilizing NX11.The KBE Advance Body / closuresDevelopment Engineer will be responsible for the rapid development ofcomponent template models that incorporateengineering requirements, best practices while honoring styling intent. Will be working daily with styling/studio engineering, other componentengineers,requirement experts, Sciences and Manufacturingwhile using the latest in parametric design engineering tools.

Successfulapplicants should have demonstratedthe ability to problem solve in a kinetic environment while achieving commitment dates for geometric releases. Selected applicants should have a command of both engineering and design principles involved in sheet metal body and closures development. United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalentProficient with NX11 parametric modelling, modelling with feature groups and wave linkingMinimum of 5years of CAD ExperienceMinimum of 5

Years Automotive Body Engineering ExperienceTeamcenter ExperienceStrong Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications:
