Role :
We are seeking a Product Development & Lab Engineer who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator to join our team. This role will support new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, working cross-functionally to bring innovative products from concept through production.
Responsibilities :
Support product development and product configuration for NPI portfolio Design and conduct studies and analytical tasks using scientific methods, aiming at supporting our claims Perform laboratory-based scientific investigations and execute test plans Align developments and studies with the NPI and NPA manufacturing network Coordinate tasks and activities with all involved departments Monitor and record accurately experimental data and observations Analyze and interpret the measured data and findings Compile comprehensive technical reports with the results Design and roll out new test methods when not existing in our labs Together with Product Management and Technical Customer Support, interact with customers at development level to help capturing needs and expectations Promotion of the NPI laboratory service offering at customers Defines project objectives, scope, timelines, resources, and overall project plans, including milestones, activities, and costs. Leads end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment across teams, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating with stakeholders and third parties, and identifying and mitigating risks while adjusting scope as needed. Facilitates team communication, manages stakeholder engagement, analyzes data, and provides regular updates and comprehensive final reports on project outcomes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience in product development, lab testing, or engineering environments
Required Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Hands-on approach with a focus on detail and accuracy Ability to communicate effectively across teams Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality systems
Preferred Skills :
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes Knowledge of regulatory or quality standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP) Background in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industries Experience with data analysis and reporting tools Pay range and compensation package : $90,000 - $115,000 + Eligible for bonus program.
