Job Description

Corin is seeking an Investigation and Development Engineer to provide technical expertise on a variety of sustaining engineering related activities within the Technology Engineering team. They will divide their time between complaints investigation activities and engineering projects. They will work as part of a global team utilizing a systematic approach to investigations and engineering activities. This position must be in the Raynham, MA office but has some remote flexibility. The key responsibilities of the Investigation and Development Engineer are/to: Perform initial triage activities for customer issues in collaboration with the vigilance, customer service and product managers for technology products Manage complaints processes and resources to resolve issues in an effective and timely manner Perform and document investigations of technology product issues working cross functionally to determine root cause Perform sustaining engineering activities to support released Technology products Perform activities in accordance with internal standard operating procedures (e.g., design and development, risk management) Plan and Manage time and activities in relationship to objectives. Assist in update of DHF/DMR and associated documentation. Collaborate with Production, Sales and Marketing teams. Maintain orthopedics knowledge
  • stay up to date in literature and new technologies.
The ideal Investigation and Development Engineer will have/be: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. biomedical, mechanical, electrical/electronic, computer science, mechatronics) Alternative qualifications maybe accepted if supported by directly applicable employment experience within medical device investigative environment Exposure to highly regulated environments Familiarity with medical devices, robotics or orthopedics. Familiarity with Technical investigations
  • reading data, log files, review of trending Exposure to electro-mechanical systems (software, electrical and mechanical aspects all highly regarded) Attention to detail and appropriate respect for operating in highly regulated development environment Accurate and clear communication (verbal, written and graphical) Develop good working relationships with cross functional teams (production, sales reps) Ability to propose and execute on product development testing activities (verification and validation) Ability to understand and troubleshoot clinical workflows using Technology products (robotics, software) Exposure to Project Management, Risk Management, Clinical Evaluations Exposure to Regulatory and Quality System Requirements.
The base pay range for this position is $80,000-95,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
