FUNCTION
Responsible for managing clarifier drives, overseeing the product lifecycle from development, through manufacturing, and to customer integration. Ensure products meet quality standards, are cost-effective, and are manufacturable. Provides technical assistance to less experienced engineers and technician and designers.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Propose and develop a custom engineer-to-order or rebuild design solution for customers based on existing and new equipment. Review and approve designs prior to production release. 2. Lead and innovate new applications and product design considering manufacturing, cost, and customer input. 3. Analyze and improve existing products in terms of manufacturability, reliability, and cost. 4. Direct others to complete projects. Projects may be related to new products, existing products, and custom engineer-to-order designs. 5. Apply and certify applicable AGMA, ABMA, ASME, ATEX, ANSI, TEMA, CRN, or other codes and standards as required to product line(s). 6. Review and approve Engineering Changes to products and parts. 7. Lead projects related to products, processes, engineering tools to improve velocity, efficiency and innovation. 8. Work with other departments to resolve issues with parts and products, revise designs and communicate revisions through the Engineering Change process. 9.
