The Embedded DEG Product Engineering team at Micron pushes the limits of Automotive DRAM technology every day. We work at the intersection of design, process, test, and manufacturing to deliver robust memory solutions for demanding automotive environments. If you enjoy solving hard problems with smart, motivated engineers, you'll feel right at home here! As a Product Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing next-generation Automotive DRAM products from concept to production. Your work will directly influence product quality, reliability, and performance, and you'll collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to solve complex technical challenges and improve how our products are built and tested.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and validate process conditions and product test programs with engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Design specialized tests to detect new and emerging failure modes
  • Debug and analyze electrical and product failures to improve detection coverage
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet Micron and industry standards
  • Serve as a technical bridge across design, process, test, and manufacturing teams
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Working knowledge of DRAM technology including architecture, testing, and failure analysis
  • Experience analyzing large datasets using tools such as JMP, Python, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive improvements
  • Effective communication skills and experience working on cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a product, test, or semiconductor engineering role
  • Understanding of VLSI and semiconductor device physics
  • Experience supporting automotive or high‑reliability semiconductor products
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and commitment to high engineering standards Job Profile(s): Product Development Engineer 2 - Product Development Engineer 3
