RF Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a RF Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is skilled in validating wireless systems through hands‑on RF testing, automation, and data analysis in fast‑paced environments.

Rate Range:

$55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. RF Test Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Develop, execute, and maintain RF test plans for wireless technologies including 5G, LTE, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and GNSS. Perform hands‑on RF testing using laboratory instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and signaling testers. Create and enhance Python scripts for test automation, data processing, and results analysis. Analyze RF performance, antenna characteristics, and OTA measurements, documenting issues and root causes. Organize, validate, and report test data clearly, communicating results and risks effectively to engineering and management teams. Collaborate in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment to support continuous testing, issue resolution, and product readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) required; master's degree (MSEE) highly preferred. 2+ years of hands‑on experience in RF testing and wireless systems (senior‑level experience preferred). Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and communications theory with hands‑on experience using RF lab instruments (SA, VNA, signaling testers). Pay Details:
