Accepting Candidates About the role Join an RF engineering team supporting advanced defense and aerospace systems. This role focuses on antenna testing, RF system evaluation, test procedure development, troubleshooting, and integration activities within complex RF environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with antenna testing, RF measurement equipment, and RF system analysis within aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and analyze RF systems and antenna-related components Support RF system integration activities across aerospace and defense platforms Conduct antenna and RF testing to ensure compliance with technical and performance requirements Develop and execute RF and antenna test procedures Perform antenna range and short-field antenna testing activities Troubleshoot RF system issues including: Signal interference Noise issues Power limitations Performance optimization Utilize RF test and measurement equipment including: Network analyzers Spectrum analyzers Signal generators Oscilloscopes Support RF frequency planning and spectrum management activities Prepare technical documentation including: Test plans Reports Specifications Design documentation Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering teams Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field Strong understanding of antenna theory (REQUIRED) Hands-on experience with antenna testing (REQUIRED) Experience creating RF test procedures (REQUIRED) Experience with antenna test ranges and short-field antenna testing Strong understanding of RF systems and RF components Experience with RF design and simulation tools such as:
MATLAB ADS CST
Microwave Studio Experience with RF measurement equipment including: Network analyzers Spectrum analyzers Signal generators Oscilloscopes Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Strong technical communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in: Aerospace Defense RF communications systems Experience supporting system integration activities Experience supporting antenna development or optimization initiatives Experience supporting regulated or high-reliability systems Compensation Estimated hourly range: $55-$60/hr (W-2) Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
