We are currently seeking an Associate RF Engineer to support our continued growth and success. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in RF engineering, wireless systems, zoning support, testing, and network analysis within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with zoning and testimony preparation by creating maps, summary sheets, and zoning exhibits using client-provided information Support investigation and analysis of wireless search areas Perform testing of new and existing cell sites using RF test equipment Utilize drive testing equipment to collect signal level data while adhering to company vehicle procedures Analyze baseline and CW data to identify wireless coverage gaps and determine future coverage potential Conduct design visits, tower site visits, and rooftop inspections Design antenna configurations and site equipment requirements Perform intermodulation studies and analyze results Conduct computer propagation simulations using RF software Prepare and issue FCC and FAA filings Participate in special projects and cross-functional engineering initiatives Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field with strong RF theory background 0-3 years of professional engineering experience Valid driver's license Authorization to work in the United States Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking communication skills in English Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and municipal representatives Preferred Experience with RF and wireless technologies Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, sweep testers, and drive test software Experience troubleshooting RF and electronic systems Knowledge of software including: MapInfo Terrain Navigator MS Visio MS Access MS Project ComSite Design ComSite Pro Willingness to travel up to 50% About PierCon Solutions PierCon Solutions is a tenured and proven wireless consulting and engineering firm headquartered in Butler, New Jersey.
