RF Systems Engineer Job Description Design radio communication systems for human spaceflight modules, calculate RF link budgets, and analyze system performance. Coordinate integration of communication components with spacecraft and ground hardware/software. Lead functional and integration testing of radio communication components and perform Radio Frequency interference and compatibility analysis for communication systems. Responsibilities Design and develop radio communication systems for human spaceflight modules. Calculate RF link budgets and analyze system performance to ensure optimal functionality. Coordinate the integration of communication components with both spacecraft and ground hardware/software. Lead functional and integration testing of radio communication components. Perform Radio Frequency interference and compatibility analysis. Essential Skills Proficiency in RF and radio frequency systems. Experience in radio system integration. Expertise with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters. 7+ years in radio systems design and testing. Experience with data protocols. Aerospace experience. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or RF Design. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in RF integration and testing. Experience with aerospace and spaceflight projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
