This is not a traditional IT networking role—the position requires strong expertise in RAN, radio technologies, and telecom feature testing within a lab environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform feature testing, integration, and validation of 4G LTE and 5G (SA/NSA) technologies Configure and test radio features (HW/SW) in a controlled lab environment Analyze Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 logs/traces to troubleshoot issues Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failed test scenarios Reproduce customer network issues in lab environments and provide resolutions Work with BBU (Baseband Units), radios, and multi-band/multi-carrier setups Support production environments by analyzing and resolving network issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Development, and Customer Teams Prepare and present test reports, logs, and documentation for customer acceptance Execute Test Object Lists (TOL) and validate feature readiness Participate in proof of concepts (POCs) and pre-commercial testing Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in telecom network engineering or RAN testing Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G technologies (SA & NSA) Solid understanding of RAN architecture and end-to-end call flow (RAN to Core) Hands-on experience with log analysis and troubleshooting (Layer 1-3) Familiarity with 3GPP standards and telecom features (e.g., EPS fallback, MIMO) Experience with tools such as:
